This is a fairly big piece, it took quite a while to finish. I think it will be my last in the looser dabs of colour style. It wasn't so much the sky that took the time, but just trying to get the landscape 'right' particularly the houses to the bottom left, some of which I painted out (twice) and then finally painted in some dilapidated buildings. You might not be able to tell from the photo but there was a fair amount of texture gel used in the construction of the painting. There is a slight camera glare from the glass, but the image is a better quality than one I have without the frame, so it will have to do.
