A small acrylic, painted on board. The Noss head lighthouse near Wick. We drove out one afternoon and watched a flock of birds fly round the lighthouse while our daughter slept in the back. The flock moved as if one entity, and it reminded me of Daniel Dennett\'s writing on emergent intelligence about 20 years ago. From a simple two or three rules, complex patterns emerge. I wish I'd called it "murmuration"...
